Leigh Stewart had experience in Real Estate from a very young age working for a Commercial Real Estate Group founded by her Father. She started her career in Interior Design with an internship with a commercial and hospitality design firm. After graduating from the University of Georgia, she cut her teeth at CNN managing graphics and set design, including the CNN Studios around the world, shows like Larry King Live, American Morning, Election 2000 and Moneyline. She was nominated to integrate television to the web and worked at and the digital properties of Time Warner and covered 9/11, The War in Afghanistan, Iraq, and her team won the National Headline Award, one of the highest honors in journalism for the Tsunami Coverage in 2004. Stewart recognized the potential for residential development in Atlanta and renovated a duplex in 2000, while working at Turner Broadcasting. She went on to renovate several other houses and created Commercial Real Estate investment opportunities. She decided to transition to a career in Tennessee Real Estate where her family is from after observing the strengthening housing market in Nashville and surrounding counties. She has classical training in architecture and design and has a unique visual memory. Along with being an award-winning photographer, Stewart has extensive training in marketing and advertising. She has developed a line of personal and home care products and uses her creative acumen to help clients sell their homes. She approaches challenges with a creative spirit and will work tirelessly to sell homes or find homes at any price point, with particular success working with investors. Before focusing on real estate full-time, she completed a post-graduate degree in Business Information Systems and Film. Stewart has been a professional writer for film, television and print for over 20 years. She founded Art West Film in 2005, a full-service production company in Los Angeles. She established herself on the Hollywood radar after directing, producing and writing feature films. She has worked for Warner Brothers, AEG, Disney and many others, as well as directed music videos and commercials. Stewart has also created designs for CNN, CNNI, Headline News, Turner, Janet Jackson, USC, Daniels College of Business, AFI and a myriad of entertainment professionals on films and new media projects. She is the founder of a non-profit film collaborative, Southeastern International Film and Music Festival, which is hosted annually in Nashville and towns throughout the Southeastern US, as well as virtually. As an artist, she specializes in oil painting, photography and mixed media, and her works have been exhibited Washington D.C., London, New York, San Francisco, Atlanta, Nashville and Los Angeles. She is an author of ten books of poetry and art, as well as several novels. Stewart continues to write freelance in Tennessee, where her family settled in 1797.
